DiversiTech Service Chemical Pro Flush Kit 16OZ

The DiversiTech PF-KIT is a 16 ounce Pro Flush kit for cleaning refrigerant line sets and components.

Flushing is required in two circumstances, and being clear about them helps decide whether it is necessary.

After a compressor motor burnout, the system contains acid, moisture, and carbonised debris distributed throughout the circuit. A replacement compressor installed into that environment is attacked by the same acid that destroyed its predecessor, and repeat failures following burnout are common and almost always attributable to inadequate cleanup.

When converting equipment from a mineral oil refrigerant to an HFC with POE lubricant, residual mineral oil remains coating the internal surfaces. It will not return to the compressor and accumulates in the evaporator, insulating the tube wall and reducing capacity while the compressor loses oil.

The flushing process involves circulating or driving a flushing agent through the affected components, then removing it completely.

Complete removal is the step that matters. Residual flushing agent is itself a contaminant, and the system must be blown through thoroughly with dry nitrogen until no trace remains, then evacuated deeply.

Components that cannot be flushed effectively, including filter driers and some metering devices, are replaced rather than cleaned.

Confirm the flushing agent is compatible with the system materials and lubricant, follow the manufacturer's procedure, and verify the system is completely dry before charging.
