The Copeland CR38K6E-TF5-925 is a three phase hermetic reciprocating air conditioning compressor supplied with polyol ester lubricant.

The TF5 motor code denotes three phase operation on a nominal 200 to 230 volt supply, distinct from the 460 volt TFD arrangement. Both are three phase, and the compressors are otherwise closely related, but they are not interchangeable and the distinction is easy to miss when reading a model number quickly.

Verifying supply voltage at the equipment is worth doing rather than inferring it. Buildings frequently carry more than one voltage, equipment has been changed over the years, and a transformer serving one part of a site may not serve another. Measuring the actual voltage phase to phase at the disconnect takes moments and eliminates the most expensive class of ordering error.

Measuring under load is more informative still.
