Weld-Aid CRC007091 Weld-Kleen 350 Anti-spatter Non-Hazardous Formula Bio-Based

The Weld-Aid CRC007091 is Weld-Kleen 350 anti-spatter in a 5 gallon bottle, supplied one per case. It is a bio-based, non-hazardous formula, coloured red.

Anti-spatter exists to stop weld spatter from bonding to a surface. Applied to the workpiece, the fixture, or the nozzle before an arc is struck, it leaves a film that spatter lands on but cannot fuse into — so the spatter lifts off with a wipe instead of a chisel, and a nozzle stays open instead of bridging over.

The formulation is what distinguishes this product. Traditional anti-spatters have relied on solvent carriers and silicone, both of which carry consequences: solvents introduce flammability and ventilation requirements into an environment that already has an ignition source in it, and silicone contaminates surfaces so thoroughly that paint and coatings fail to adhere afterward — a defect that only surfaces in the paint booth, after the fabrication is finished.

Weld-Kleen 350 is a non-hazardous, bio-based formula. For a shop, non-hazardous status changes the practical handling picture: storage, disposal, and shipping classification are simpler, and the product can be used in areas where a flammable aerosol would be restricted.

The red colour makes coverage visible during application, so the operator can see what has been treated.

The 5 gallon bottle is a bulk format for shops decanting into spray bottles, dip tanks, or applicators.

Applications include MIG and stick welding, robotic welding cells, fixtures and jigs, and general fabrication.
