The Simple Green SGN13412 is Extreme cleaner, biodegradable, 32 oz trigger spray bottle, VOC content 0.50 percent, non-flammable, not Green Seal certified, carries a Prop 65 listing, not a DOT hazardous substance.

The trigger bottle is the specification and it is the format that actually gets used at the point of work.

A pail of concentrate is cheaper per gallon and it requires a dilution station, a bottle, and somebody to label it. In practice, a technician with a part to clean uses whatever is already in a bottle within arm's reach — which is how the wrong product ends up on aluminium. A ready trigger bottle of the correct formula, sitting at the bench, is what makes the right choice the easy one.

This is the Extreme formula, which is Simple Green's aluminium-compatible chemistry. The Original formula should not be left in prolonged contact with aluminium and soft metals, and the Extreme line exists for precision, aerospace, and machined work where that matters.

Note the VOC figure: 0.50 percent here against 2 percent for the pail and gallon in the same Extreme line. That is a different dilution rather than a different chemistry — this bottle is ready to use where the larger containers are concentrate. Confirm before assuming.

The Prop 65 listing applies to the Extreme formula where it does not to the Original. Worth showing the buyer.
