The Simple Green SGN13405 is Extreme Aircraft and Precision degreaser, biodegradable, 5 gal pail, VOC content 2 percent, non-flammable, not Green Seal certified, carries a Prop 65 listing, not a DOT hazardous substance.

The Aircraft and Precision designation is the reason this formula exists, and it is the answer to a limitation of the Original formula elsewhere in this range.

Simple Green Original should not be left in prolonged contact with aluminium and some soft metals. On a painted steel floor that is irrelevant. On aircraft structure, ladders, trailers, machined parts, and precision assemblies it is a serious problem, because those are aluminium and because the corrosion is not always visible before it matters.

Extreme is formulated for exactly that: aluminium and sensitive alloys without the attack. Anyone cleaning aircraft, aerospace components, or precision machined parts needs this SKU and not the Original, and the difference is not a marketing tier.

Note an inversion worth reading carefully: this formula carries a Prop 65 listing where the Original does not, and it is not Green Seal certified where the Original range includes a certified option. The trade for metal compatibility is a different chemistry with a different disclosure profile. That is honest and it should be visible to the buyer rather than assumed away.

Non-flammable and not DOT hazardous means ordinary storage and freight.
