Note that nitrile, as listed, is the coating. The cut resistance is in the shell yarn beneath it.

The nitrile coating is worth explaining on its own terms, because it is doing a job that a cut shell cannot.

A cut-resistant knit by itself has no grip and no barrier. It is a fabric — it lets liquid through, it slides on smooth surfaces, and it abrades. Coating the palm and fingers in nitrile gives the glove something to hold with, resists the oils and fluids that come with metal work, and takes the abrasion that would otherwise wear the expensive shell out.

So the coating is what makes a cut glove into a working glove, and the shell is what makes it cut resistant. Two components, two jobs, and a listing that names only one of them tells the customer nothing about either.
