Ironclad IRNWFG-05-XL Gloves Workforce X-Large Gy

The Ironclad IRNWFG-05-XL is a Workforce work glove in size X-Large, gray.

Stocking a glove range across sizes rather than buying whatever is cheapest in bulk is a decision with real consequences. A crew issued one size gets a few people with gloves that fit and everybody else with gloves that bunch, slip, or fatigue the hand — and those people either work with reduced grip and dexterity or take the gloves off. Neither outcome is what the PPE budget was spent on.

The Workforce is Ironclad's all-purpose medium-duty glove, built for all-day general work: high performance synthetic suede palm, breathable nylon back of hand, TPR knuckle impact protection, thumb saddle reinforcement, and a terry cloth sweat wipe.

The EN 388 rating is 3121 — abrasion 3, cut 1, tear 2, puncture 1. Read the cut rating honestly: at 1, this glove offers essentially no protection against a blade or a sharp edge. It is designed for abrasion and general wear, not for cutting hazards, and specifying it where sharp material is handled is a mismatch.

Ironclad publishes grip ratings of dry 3/5, wet 3/5, oily 2/5 — not an oil grip glove.

The slip-fit cuff allows quick on and off, and the glove is 100% machine washable, hang dry, which matters for a glove worn daily.

Applications include home and shop, light construction, maintenance, transportation, landscaping, and yard work.
