The Showa SHW727-10 is a 727 chemical resistance glove, X-Large, 13 inches long, light green.

A standard glove ends at the wrist. That is fine for handling and it is exactly wrong for liquid, because liquid runs. Reaching into a tank, a parts washer, or a drum, the chemical runs down the glove and off the cuff onto the forearm — and the wearer, who is wearing chemical gloves, is being exposed. A 13 inch gauntlet covers the forearm and gives the liquid somewhere to run that is not skin.
