Radians RDNRWG550S Ghost Series Cut Level 3 Work Gloves Small

The Radians RDNRWG550S is a pair of Ghost Series cut level 3 work gloves, small.

Cut level 3 is the specification and it deserves an honest reading rather than an enthusiastic one.

The ANSI/ISEA cut scale runs A1 through A9. Level 3 sits in the lower third: it is real protection against box cutters, burrs, light edges, and incidental contact, and it is not protection against glass, sheet metal edges, or blades. Those need A4 and above, and the gap between A3 and A5 is not incremental — it is a different order of protection.

The reason to be blunt about it is that a wearer who believes they are protected behaves as though they are. Selling A3 against a glass-handling hazard is worse than selling nothing, because the glove creates confidence that the hazard does not respect.

Where A3 is right — assembly, warehouse, general handling with occasional sharp edges — it is a genuinely good choice, because it delivers useful protection in a glove thin enough to work in. The higher levels cost dexterity.

Small is a size worth stocking rather than skipping. An oversized glove catches in machinery and destroys the tactile feedback the glove exists to preserve.

Applications include assembly, warehousing, and general handling.
