PIP PIN34-8743M Atg MaxiFlex Cut Resistant Gloves Item 34-8743 ANSI Cut Level 2

The PIP PIN34-8743M is a pair of ATG MaxiFlex cut resistant gloves, item 34-8743, ANSI cut level 2, silicone free, medium, priced and sold by the dozen.

Silicone free is the specification and it is the reason this glove exists as a separate line — and it matters enormously to a specific customer.

Silicone is the enemy of paint. Trace silicone on a surface causes fisheyes: the coating refuses to wet the contaminated spot and pulls away from it, leaving craters. It happens at concentrations far below anything visible, it is nearly impossible to remove once introduced into a shop, and it can contaminate a booth for weeks. Body shops and finishing operations treat silicone the way a cleanroom treats dust.

Ordinary gloves carry silicone from mould release and processing aids, and a hand touching a panel before paint is exactly the transfer path. A certified silicone-free glove closes it.

Anyone selling to automotive refinish, aerospace coating, or industrial painting needs this specification called out — it is the whole purchase decision, and the rest of the glove is incidental.

Read the cut rating honestly: ANSI level 2 is near the bottom of the A1 to A9 scale. This is light cut protection — box edges and incidental contact, not glass or sheet metal.

Applications include automotive refinish, coating, and assembly.
