PIP PIN33-B125/M Protective Industrial Products G-Tek Gloves Medium

The PIP PIN33-B125/M is a G-Tek glove with coated palm and fingers on black, medium, 1 pair per bag and 12 pairs per dozen.

Black is worth explaining because it is doing something practical rather than aesthetic in a work glove.

A pale knit glove looks filthy within an hour. That matters more than vanity: gloves that look dirty get thrown away while they are still perfectly functional, which is a real and quantifiable cost across a workforce. A black glove looks acceptable for its whole working life and gets replaced when the coating wears through rather than when it looks bad.

The counter-argument is that black hides contamination too, which rules it out of food handling and clean work — those want a colour that shows.

The coated palm and fingers arrangement is the standard for a working knit glove and it is deliberate rather than a cost saving. Coating the palm gives grip where the hand contacts the work. Leaving the back uncoated leaves the knit breathable, which is what stops the glove becoming unbearable across a shift. A fully coated glove is a bag.

Note that no cut rating and no coating material are stated. Both are specifications a buyer chooses on — obtain them before listing.

Applications include general handling, assembly, and maintenance.
