Note a naming error in the source: this is described as ProFit. Mechanix lists the H15-05 as the Utility glove — ProFit appears in older descriptions as the name of a stretch panel feature, not the model. Anyone searching your catalogue for a Mechanix Utility glove will not find this.

The glove itself is Mechanix's all-purpose work glove. The palm is a two-piece synthetic leather construction, which is a deliberate detail: a one-piece palm bunches in the hand when gripping, and bunched material between hand and tool means less control. Splitting the panel removes the bunching. The thumb and index finger are reinforced, which is where a work glove wears through first. TrekDry forms the back of the hand for breathability, and a TPR wrist closure adjusts the fit. The palm is touchscreen capable and the glove is machine washable.

Mechanix lists an EN 388 rating of 3121X. Read that honestly: the second digit is blade cut resistance at level 1. This is not a cut-resistant glove.
