The MCR Safety MCRMO200M is a pair of ForceFlex mechanics gloves, synthetic, medium, brown, adjustable closure, Thinsulate lining, neoprene cuff, TPR glove back, premium grade.

The adjustable closure earns particular attention on an insulated impact glove, because this glove has more to hold on than most.

A TPR back adds weight and rigidity to the back of the hand. A Thinsulate lining adds bulk. Together they make a glove that a plain slip-on cuff would struggle to keep in position — and a glove that shifts on the hand puts the moulded impact protection somewhere other than over the knuckles, which is the only place it does any good.

An adjustable closure pulls the glove onto the hand and holds it there. It is not a convenience feature on this glove; it is what makes the TPR work.

The neoprene cuff underneath seals the wrist against cold and debris.

The TPR back protects against impact — the knuckle struck against a frame, the finger caught against a component — which in heavy mechanical work is the injury that actually happens. Note that impact protection is rated under a separate standard from cut, and this glove states no cut level.

Thinsulate gives warmth per unit of thickness rather than by bulk.
