MCR Safety MCRMO200L Mechanics Gloves ForceFlex Synthetic Brown Premium Large

The MCR Safety MCRMO200L is a pair of ForceFlex mechanics gloves, synthetic, large, brown, adjustable closure, Thinsulate lining, neoprene cuff, TPR glove back, premium grade.

This is the insulated ForceFlex, and reading it against the unlined MO100 shows the range's logic: same TPR impact back, same neoprene cuff and adjustable closure, with Thinsulate added. The MO100 is the warm-weather glove, this is the cold one.

The TPR back is the defining feature. Thermoplastic rubber moulded across the knuckles and fingers takes impact — the hand struck against a frame, the finger pinched against a component. In heavy mechanical work that is the injury that actually happens, more often than a cut.

Worth being explicit: impact protection is not cut protection, and this glove states no cut rating. The two are measured under separate standards and one says nothing about the other.

Thinsulate delivers warmth per unit of thickness — microfibres trap more air in less bulk, which is what lets an insulated glove still function.

The combination is aimed squarely at outdoor heavy work in the cold: drilling, oil and gas, and equipment maintenance in winter.

Sizing note: insulated gloves want a slightly looser fit, since a tight glove compresses the lining and restricts circulation.
