The Krylon KRYSC0200000 is a Krylon Industrial Sprayon Dry Moly Lube, 16 oz can with 11 oz net weight.

Molybdenum disulfide is the lubricant and it works on a principle worth understanding, because it explains where it belongs. Moly has a layered crystal structure — sheets that slide over each other with very little resistance. That gives lubrication with no oil present at all.

Dry film is the whole point. Oil and grease lubricate well and they attract dirt: on a chain, a slide, or an exposed mechanism in a dusty environment, a greased surface becomes a grinding paste within days. A dry moly film lubricates and stays dry, so dust does not stick to it.
