The Eagle EAGUI50FSY is a Type 1 safety can with an F-15 funnel, in yellow, with a 5 gallon capacity.

Yellow at 5 gallons is a diesel can, and the combination is a common one for a reason: diesel equipment tends to have larger tanks than gasoline equipment, so the fuel is carried in larger volumes. Generators, heaters, compressors, and construction plant are the typical customers.

The colour is functional. Industry convention uses yellow for diesel and red for gasoline, and the point of a convention is that it lets an operator identify contents across a yard without reading anything. That protection only works if the convention is followed — a yard where colour is assigned by whatever was in stock has no colour code at all, just paint. Misfuelling is expensive in both directions.

Weight deserves consideration at this size. Diesel runs around seven pounds per gallon, so a full can is over thirty-five pounds plus the container — a two-handed carry and a deliberate pour. The F-15 funnel is what keeps that pour in the tank.

The safety engineering is standard to the range: a spring-loaded cap that closes automatically and vents accumulating vapour pressure, and a flame arrester screen in the spout that absorbs heat from an external flame before it can reach the vapour space.
