The Eagle EAGUI10S is a Type 1 safety can in metal, red, with a 1 gallon capacity.

This is the base configuration in the range: a Type 1 can without a funnel. Type 1 means a single opening serving as both fill and pour point — simpler than a Type 2 can with separate spouts, and the standard configuration for general use.

The absence of a funnel is a real specification rather than an omission. A funnel adds controlled pouring into a small opening, which matters when filling a chainsaw or a generator tank. It also adds bulk and one more thing to lose. Where the can is used to fill something with a wide opening, or where the operator uses a separate funnel, the plain spout is the sensible choice.

The safety features are the reason to own this rather than a plastic jug. The spring-loaded cap closes by itself, so the can is sealed unless someone is actively holding it open, and it vents to relieve the vapour pressure that builds as fuel warms — pressure that would otherwise swell or split a sealed rigid container. Inside the spout is a flame arrester screen, which absorbs heat from an external flame fast enough to stop it propagating into the vapour inside.

Red follows the industry convention for gasoline.
