Eagle EAGUI10FSY Safety Cans Metal Yellow w/F-15 Funnel 1 Gal

The Eagle EAGUI10FSY is a metal safety can in yellow with an F-15 funnel, with a 1 gallon capacity.

The yellow colour is the specification that matters, and it is doing a job rather than looking good. Industry convention assigns colours to fuel types so that contents can be identified without reading a label — and yellow conventionally indicates diesel. In a shop or yard running gasoline equipment alongside diesel, that distinction is not academic: putting gasoline into a diesel engine is an expensive repair, and the reverse is a no-start plus a fuel system flush.

Colour coding works only if it is applied consistently, which is the real argument for buying the correct colour rather than whatever is in stock. A yard where every can is red teaches operators that colour means nothing.

The safety engineering is common to the range and addresses specific failures. The spring-loaded cap seals automatically and doubles as a pressure relief, venting the vapour expansion that would otherwise swell or burst a sealed container as temperature rises. A flame arrester screen inside the spout absorbs heat from an external flame quickly enough to prevent it travelling into the vapour space.

The F-15 funnel provides controlled pouring into a target opening.

At 1 gallon this is a top-up can rather than a transfer container.

Applications include diesel equipment fuelling, generators, heaters, fleet and yard operations, and construction sites.
