The DiversiTech 60220LX is an insulated male slip-on terminal sized for 16 to 14 gauge conductors with a .187 inch tab width.

Slip-on terminals, also called quick disconnect terminals, provide a separable connection that can be disconnected by hand without tools. This makes them the standard termination on components that are routinely replaced during service: contactor coils, capacitors, pressure switches, limit switches, relays, and motor leads. A technician can disconnect and replace a failed component without cutting or re-splicing conductors, which both speeds the job and preserves lead length across repeated service events.

Tab width is a critical specification. Quick disconnect terminals are produced in several standard widths, with .187 and .250 inch being most common in HVAC equipment. A .187 terminal will not fit a .250 tab securely, and forcing a mismatched terminal produces a loose connection that arcs, heats, and eventually fails. This is a frequent field error because the terminals look similar at a glance, and it is a common cause of burned terminals on contactors and capacitors.
