DiversiTech Terminal Block 20A-250V 14 Pos 6187

The DiversiTech 6187 is a fourteen position barrier terminal block rated 20 amps at 250 volts, providing a high density landing point for control and interconnect wiring in equipment cabinets and panels.

Fourteen positions suit installations with substantial circuit counts: multi-stage equipment with heat and cool stages plus accessory outputs, zoning panels serving several dampers, economizer and ventilation controls, or an interconnect between a packaged unit and a remote control station. Where a smaller block would force a second landing point elsewhere in the cabinet, a fourteen pole block keeps the entire interface in one documented location.

The insulating barriers between positions prevent adjacent poles from bridging. In a densely populated block this protection is more than incidental, since conductors sit close together and terminals are landed and lifted repeatedly over the life of the equipment.

The 20 amp, 250 volt rating provides substantial headroom for low voltage control circuits and covers light line voltage duty within the rating.

Applications include commercial HVAC control panels, rooftop unit control compartments, zoning and building automation interfaces, refrigeration rack control, boiler and pump control cabinets, and industrial machine wiring.

Land each conductor with a properly crimped ring or fork terminal rather than a bare strand, which loosens over thermal cycling. Torque screws to a firm, consistent tension and label every position at installation. On a fourteen pole block, unlabelled positions become a genuine obstacle at the next service call.
