DiversiTech Terminal Block 20A-250V 6 Pos 6183

The DiversiTech 6183 is a six position barrier terminal block rated 20 amps at 250 volts, providing an organised landing point for field wiring in control panels, equipment cabinets, and junction enclosures.

Barrier terminal blocks separate each pole with a raised insulating wall. That barrier is the functional difference from a simple screw strip: it prevents a stray strand or a shifted ring terminal from bridging to the adjacent pole, which is the common failure mode in tightly packed control wiring. Each position accepts a conductor under a captive screw, typically landed with a ring or fork terminal for a repeatable, torque-retained connection.

Six positions suit small control interfaces such as thermostat wiring, a condensing unit low voltage landing, damper and actuator connections, or a compact interlock between two pieces of equipment. Using a terminal block rather than wire nuts or splices makes the connection point serviceable, allows individual circuits to be isolated for troubleshooting, and gives the next technician a clearly labelled reference.

The 20 amp, 250 volt rating covers low voltage control circuits comfortably and accommodates light line voltage duty within the block's rating.

Applications include HVAC control panels, air handler and furnace wiring compartments, condensing unit connections, refrigeration control enclosures, pump and damper control, and general industrial machine wiring.
