DiversiTech Terminal Ring 12-10 100-Pack 60252CX

The DiversiTech 60252CX is a 100-pack of ring terminals sized for 12 to 10 gauge conductors, for connections to screw and stud terminals.

The closed ring is the defining feature. Unlike fork terminals, which can slip out from under a loosened screw, a ring terminal remains captive on the stud until the fastener is fully removed. That property makes ring terminals the required choice for grounding connections and for any termination where disconnection under vibration would create a hazard or leave a circuit in an unsafe condition.

Grounding is the clearest case. An equipment grounding conductor that works loose from a fork terminal provides no fault path and gives no indication of the problem until someone contacts an energized enclosure. A ring terminal removes that failure mode.
