The DiversiTech C330E is a three pole definite purpose contactor rated 30 amps with a 277 volt coil.

Three pole contactors with 277 volt coils belong to a specific installation type: three phase equipment on a 480 volt system, with the control circuit taken from line to neutral at 277 volts.

Confirming which voltage a control circuit actually uses is worth doing with a meter rather than by inspection. A commercial building may contain 480 volt three phase power, 277 volt single phase lighting and control, 208 volt three phase from a step-down transformer, 120 volt convenience circuits, and 24 volt controls, sometimes within the same equipment. Selecting a replacement coil voltage on the assumption that the building is "a 480 volt building" is how the wrong part gets fitted.

The contactor's own markings state its coil voltage, and reading them on the failed unit before ordering the replacement is the reliable method, provided the failed unit was itself correct.
