Product Highlights
Description
The DiversiTech 625-AF14 is a 14 inch inline duct fan rated at approximately 1,350 CFM, the largest in this series, intended for high volume duct boosting and dedicated ventilation.
At 1,350 CFM the fan is moving air at a rate comparable to the total output of a small residential air handler, which places it in commercial and light industrial territory: warehouse and workshop ventilation, commercial kitchen and equipment room exhaust, large controlled environment spaces, agricultural buildings, and long trunk runs in commercial duct systems.
Two considerations govern whether a fan this size delivers its rating. The first is static pressure. Fan output declines as system resistance rises, and a 1,350 CFM rating is achieved against low resistance; a run with undersized duct, multiple sharp elbows, restrictive grilles, or a long flexible section will produce substantially less. The second is that air moved must be air replaced. Exhausting 1,350 CFM from a reasonably tight building without providing make-up air will depressurise the space, which can backdraft combustion appliances, pull outdoor air through unintended paths, and prevent the fan from achieving its rated flow.
Install in a straight duct section with clear run before and after where practical, support the duct independently on both sides, observe the airflow direction marking, and provide adequate electrical supply and service access. Applications include commercial, industrial, and agricultural ventilation and duct boosting.
