DiversiTech 12IN 975CFM Duct 625-AF12

The DiversiTech 625-AF12 is a 12 inch inline duct fan rated at approximately 975 CFM, installed within a duct run to boost airflow or provide dedicated ventilation.

At 12 inch diameter, this size sits in the range where inline fans are typically serving trunk extensions, large branch runs, or substantial exhaust duties rather than a single room. Applications include commercial kitchen make-up air paths, workshop and garage ventilation, equipment room exhaust, grow room and controlled environment air movement, and boosting long duct runs in larger residential and light commercial buildings.

Matching the fan to the duct is more consequential at this size than at smaller diameters. A 12 inch fan installed on a run that transitions to smaller duct, or one that passes through several tight elbows, will not deliver anything near its rated airflow, because the fan's output falls as system static pressure rises. Reviewing the actual duct path before selecting the fan is what determines whether the installation performs.

Mounting in a straight section, with several duct diameters of clear run before and after the fan where possible, improves both airflow and noise. Support the duct independently on each side so the fan housing is not carrying the weight of the run.

Observe the airflow direction marking on the housing, provide a suitable electrical connection with appropriate switching or control, and allow access for service. Applications span residential, commercial, and light industrial ventilation and air movement.
