The CRCSL35905 is CRC Sta Lube Food Grade Anti-Seize, supplied in an 8 oz brush-top bottle.

Anti-seize is applied before assembly rather than after failure, and that is the point of it. Threaded fasteners left untreated gall, corrode, and seize — steel on steel welds itself together under load and heat, and stainless is worse, because it galls readily on assembly alone. A fastener that cannot be removed without being cut off turns routine maintenance into destructive disassembly. Anti-seize places a barrier of solid lubricant between the mating threads so they can be taken apart again.

The food grade formulation is what makes this usable where a standard anti-seize is not. Food processing equipment is disassembled for cleaning and inspection constantly, so it needs anti-seize more than most machinery — but conventional anti-seize compounds are not permitted where incidental product contact is possible. This resolves that conflict.

The brush-top bottle is the correct applicator for the job. Anti-seize is applied deliberately to threads, and a brush integrated into the cap puts a controlled film exactly where it belongs without a separate tool.

Applications include threaded fasteners, studs, bolts, flange hardware, and assemblies on food and beverage processing equipment, bakeries, bottling and packaging lines, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Anti-seize affects the relationship between applied torque and achieved clamp load. Where fasteners are torqued to specification, confirm the correct value for lubricated threads.
