CRC CRC14446 Cleaner 32 oz Clear/Colorless Spray Bottle H2O Surfactant

The CRC14446 is a cleaner supplied in a 32 oz spray bottle with a 32 fl oz net fill, 1 each with 12 per case. It is a clear, colorless liquid on an H2O surfactant base, with a slow evaporation rate and a specific gravity of 1.04.

The H2O surfactant base is the specification that governs everything about how this product is used. Surfactant cleaning is not solvent cleaning: rather than dissolving soil, surfactants reduce the surface tension of water and lift contamination away so it can be rinsed or wiped off. The mechanism is gentler, works on a broad range of general soils, and is far more forgiving of the plastics, elastomers, and painted surfaces that aggressive solvents attack.

Being water-based, the product is not flammable. That single property removes the restrictions that govern solvent cleaners — it can be used near hot work, in confined spaces, and around ignition sources without the procedural separation a solvent demands. In a welding facility, that is a practical advantage rather than a technical footnote.

The 32 oz spray bottle rather than an aerosol is a deliberate format. There is no propellant, no VOC-carrying carrier, and the bottle is refillable if the product is bought in bulk — the format for routine, high-frequency cleaning rather than occasional spot work.

The slow evaporation rate gives the surfactant time to work before the surface dries.

Applications include general equipment, tooling, bench, and facility surface cleaning across manufacturing, maintenance, and workshop operations.

Consult the manufacturer's SDS before use.
