CRC CRC03250 Adhesive Remover 20 oz Clear/Water-White Aerosol

The CRC03250 is an adhesive remover in a 20 oz aerosol with a 15 oz net fill, supplied 1 each with 12 per case. It is a clear, water-white liquid, classified flammable, with a flash point of 185 °F and a slow evaporation rate.

The slow evaporation rate is not a limitation of this product — it is the mechanism. Adhesive removal is a chemical process that takes time. The solvent has to soak into and swell the adhesive layer until its bond to the substrate releases, and a fast-flashing solvent evaporates long before that happens, achieving nothing but a wet surface. A slow-evaporating remover stays on the residue and keeps working, which is why the correct technique is to apply, wait, and then wipe rather than spray and scrub immediately.

The 185 °F flash point keeps the product in the flammable rather than extremely flammable class, which affects storage classification and permits use in areas where more volatile solvents are restricted. It does not remove the need for precautions around ignition sources.

The clear, water-white formulation leaves no staining on treated surfaces.

Applications include removing label and sticker residue, tape adhesive, gasket and decal residue, tar, gum, and general adhesive contamination from equipment, tooling, vehicles, glass, and metal surfaces.

Test on an inconspicuous area first — a solvent capable of dissolving adhesive will attack many plastics, painted surfaces, and coatings. Read the manufacturer's SDS before use.
