CRC CRC03045 Lubricant 16 oz Light Amber White Precipitate Aerosol Multi-Purpose

The CRC03045 is a multi-purpose lubricant in a 16 oz aerosol with an 11 oz net fill, supplied 1 each with 12 per case. It is a light amber liquid with a white precipitate, contains petroleum solvent, and has a flash point below 20 °F.

The white precipitate named in the specification is a deliberate part of the formulation rather than a defect or a settling problem. In lubricant chemistry, a suspended solid additive is what remains on the surface after the carrier solvent has evaporated, leaving a protective and lubricating deposit where a pure oil film would be thinner and more easily displaced. The can should be shaken before use to redistribute it — an instruction that is genuinely functional on a product like this, not boilerplate.

The petroleum solvent carrier is what delivers that payload into a tight joint. A thin solvent penetrates a clearance that a heavy oil would bridge over, then flashes off and leaves the active material behind, inside the joint rather than on top of it.

The flash point below 20 °F requires real care. The product produces ignitable vapour at ordinary shop temperatures and must be kept away from welding, grinding, hot surfaces, and other ignition sources.

Applications include general maintenance lubrication, linkages, hinges, chains, cables, slides, and corrosion protection on bare metal across fleet, agricultural, manufacturing, and plant maintenance.

Consult the manufacturer's SDS before use.
