The Williams SNPTCQZXM50ADP is a dual pin torque wrench head, 50 mm, Z dual pin shank, 12 point, maximum torque 480 ft-lb.

A 50 mm fastener is about two inches across the flats, and reading it against the 480 ft-lb rating is instructive.

The rating is the head's, not the fastener's. Fifty millimetres of bolt can take considerably more than 480 ft-lb — a fastener that size in a structural application may be specified well above it. So this head reaching its limit does not mean the fastener has reached its specification, and that gap is where mistakes live.

The rule: match the head to the torque required, then check that the head can take it. Not the other way round. An operator seeing a 50 mm head assumes 50 mm of capability, and the head is the limit.
