The Williams SNPQCG-150 is a Quick Clamp, QCG, 6 inch capacity, 275 lb clamping force.

The quick clamp is a one-handed tool and that is the whole reason it displaced the F-clamp for a great deal of work.

An F-clamp or a C-clamp needs two hands: one to hold the work, one to turn the screw. Which means it needs three hands, because the work needs holding too, and nobody has three. The result is the familiar performance of holding a joint with an elbow while turning a clamp.
