The Williams SNP8729 is a box end wrench, 12-point, 5/8 x 3/4 inch, 10-1/4 inch overall length, offset head, satin-chrome, 60 degree offset angle, double end.

The 60 degree offset is the specification and it is a much bigger angle than the 15 degrees on the combination wrenches in this range — which tells you what it is for.

A 15 degree offset lifts knuckles clear of the work. A 60 degree offset does something else entirely: it lets the wrench reach a fastener that is recessed, sunk in a well, or set below a surrounding surface. The handle comes out at a steep angle while the box sits down flat on the nut. Without it, the handle would be fouling on whatever surrounds the fastener.

That geometry also gives a deep reach into a housing, which is why deep offset box wrenches live in equipment maintenance rather than general toolboxes.

Double-ended is the other specification: 5/8 at one end, 3/4 at the other. Box wrenches are frequently sold this way because a box end is the strongest wrench form there is — it surrounds the fastener completely and cannot spread — and putting two sizes on one tool halves what has to be carried.

Satin chrome is chrome without the mirror: same corrosion resistance, no glare.

The 12-point engages every thirty degrees.
