Williams SNP1228RSC Combination Wrench 7/8 Inch Hi-Vis Red Rounded 12-Point

The Williams SNP1228RSC is a combination wrench, 7/8 inch opening, rounded open end, 12-point box end, 12-1/2 inch overall length, Hi-Vis Red finish, standard head.

At 7/8 inch and 12-1/2 inches long, this is where the 12-point trade-off starts to matter most, and it is worth being direct about it.

A 12-point box engages every thirty degrees, which is access. A 6-point engages every sixty and contacts the fastener across the flats rather than nearer the corners. Corners are what round off — and the larger the fastener, the more torque is going through it, and the more the difference tells.

A 12-point wrench on a large, seized, rusted fastener is the tool that rounds it. That is not a manufacturing failure; it is geometry. The right approach on anything genuinely stuck is a 6-point socket, penetrating fluid, heat, and patience — in that order, and not a longer lever on a 12-point wrench.

Where the 12-point earns its place is everything else: fasteners that will move, in spaces where a 6-point cannot be repositioned.

Hi-Vis Red is a tool control finish — for aviation, aerospace, and food operations where a dropped tool left in an assembly is a catastrophe and a chrome tool in a dark bay is invisible.

The rounded open end shifts contact toward the flats.
