The Victor VCT0323-0131 is a W series welding nozzle, for acetylene and hydrogen, general purpose welding and preheating, tip size 5, one piece.

At size 5 this is the largest welding nozzle in this range, and it is worth noting what oxy-acetylene welding still does that nothing else does.

It has been displaced almost everywhere. MIG and TIG are faster, cleaner, and easier to learn, and they have taken the shop work. What gas welding retains is independence and control: no power, no shielding gas bottle, no ground clamp, and a heat source that can be moved away from the puddle without stopping. On thin steel, on repairs in the field, on tube and on aircraft-type work, it remains a genuinely capable process.

It is also the only common process where the same equipment welds, cuts, brazes, heats, and bends. A torch outfit is a whole workshop.

The larger tip is for heavier section, and the sizing rule matters: a tip too small for the material never forms a puddle at all, because the metal conducts heat away faster than the flame supplies it. Waiting does not help. A bigger tip does.

Acetylene's rule is absolute: never above 15 psi. Above that the gas decomposes explosively without oxygen.
