The Victor VCT0323-0112 is a W series welding nozzle, for acetylene and hydrogen, general purpose welding and preheating, tip size 0, one piece.

Acetylene is the gas and it carries the single most important rule in oxy-fuel work: never exceed 15 psi.

The reason is chemistry rather than caution. Acetylene is not merely flammable — it is unstable. Above roughly 15 psi it can decompose explosively without any oxygen present at all, from heat, shock, or nothing obvious. That is why acetylene regulators have a red band at 15 and why acetylene cylinders are filled with a porous mass soaked in acetone rather than being hollow: the gas is dissolved rather than compressed, because compressing it is what the molecule cannot survive.

That also means an acetylene cylinder must stand upright, and one that has been lying down needs to stand for a while before use — otherwise liquid acetone comes out with the gas.

The tip size is the heat rating. Size 0 is small, and it is matched to material thickness: too small a tip on heavy material never reaches temperature, because the metal conducts heat away faster than the flame delivers it.

One piece means the mixing happens in the nozzle.
