The Unger UNG960430 is a Nifty Nabber grabber tool, 48 inch.
Note that the source states almost nothing beyond the length. Verify the jaw type, the weight capacity, and whether it locks against Unger's specification.
A grabber is a reacher, and the 48 inch length identifies the application: this is a litter and cleanup tool rather than an accessibility aid. The long versions are for picking things off the ground without bending, and off shelves without a ladder.
The bending is the real argument. Grounds, facilities, and janitorial work involves picking things up hundreds of times a day, and each one is a bend. Cumulative lower back injury from repeated bending is one of the most common and most costly occupational injuries there is, and it does not announce itself — it accumulates over years and then it is permanent.
A grabber removes the bend. That is the whole product, and its value is entirely in a number nobody measures until somebody is off work.
It also keeps hands off what is being picked up, which in litter collection is not a small thing — broken glass, needles, and whatever else is on the ground.
The honest limit: grabbers are light-duty. The jaw and the linkage are not built for weight, and using one as a lifting tool breaks it.
