The Swanson SATS0100-AC is a Speed Square Pro.

Note that the source data carries almost nothing — no size, no material, no features. Swanson lists the S0100-AC as the 7 inch Speed Square Pro in die-cast aluminium alloy, supplied with a Speed Clip; the S0100-A is the same square in standard packaging. The Speed Square is a genuine piece of design history — Albert Swanson patented it in 1925, and every rafter square since is a copy. It is five tools: try square, mitre square, saw guide, line scriber, and protractor.

What the Pro adds to the original: a 22.5 degree mark off the pivot, a Diamond callout at 5-1/2 inches for 2x6 stock, a 1-1/2 inch edge matching 2X framing width so both sides of a stud can be marked without sliding the square, a scribe bar twice the original length in 1/8 inch increments, and bevelled edges that sit closer to the work for accurate top cuts.

The construction detail that matters most: the markings are cast into the aluminium rather than laser-etched onto it. Etching is a surface finish and it wears off. Cast markings are the tool.
