The Stanley STN33-725 is a FatMax tape measure, tape rule with BladeArmor coating, top forward style, 1-1/4 inch blade width, 25 ft.

Top forward is the specification worth noting and it is about where the numbers sit.

A tape blade can be printed so the graduations read from the top edge or the bottom. That sounds cosmetic until you are holding a tape over a workpiece at arm's length — then it decides whether the measurement is visible or hidden under the blade's own curve. Top-read blades put the numbers where the eye is when the tape is held out flat and looked down at, which is how most measurements are actually taken.
