Pioneer JKSV1210160U-4XL Waterproof Heated Safety Nano Bomber Jacket 4X-Large

The Pioneer JKSV1210160U-4XL is a waterproof heated safety nano bomber jacket, model 5408AU, hi-vis yellow, size 4X-Large.

This combines three things that are usually separate garments, and the combination is the point. It is hi-vis, so the wearer is seen. It is waterproof, so they stay dry. And it is heated, which is the part worth thinking about.

Heated workwear is not a luxury item in cold-weather work — it is a productivity and safety control. Cold hands and a cold core degrade dexterity, judgement, and reaction time, and the standard response to cold is more layers, which restricts movement and makes the work harder. A heated garment lets a worker stay warm in a thinner, more mobile jacket.

Hi-vis yellow is a high-visibility colour rather than a coded one, specified where being seen is the safety requirement — roadworks, traffic management, yards, and any ground shared with vehicles. Note that hi-vis garments carry performance classes; verify the class required for your application against the garment's certification.

Waterproof matters more than it looks in cold work, because wet is what turns cold into dangerous. A wet worker loses heat far faster than a dry one.

Confirm battery and charger requirements — heated garments are a system.
