Guardair GUA75XT024AA Xtra Thrust With 24" Alum Ext & Alloy Nozzle

The Guardair GUA75XT024AA is an Xtra Thrust safety air gun with a 24 inch aluminium extension and alloy nozzle.

This pairs the high-output Xtra Thrust design with two feet of reach, and the combination targets a specific problem: heavy material that needs moving from somewhere an arm cannot go. Packed swarf deep in a machine enclosure, foundry sand in a pit, wet chips in the bottom of a fixture, debris on overhead structure — the standard Long John reaches it but may not shift it, and a bare Xtra Thrust gun shifts it but cannot reach.

The trade is control. A high-output gun on a 24 inch wand throws material hard and is harder to aim precisely, which means bystanders and adjacent work need consideration before the trigger is pulled. Eye protection is not a formality with a gun of this type.

The safety designation is regulatory rather than descriptive. OSHA restricts compressed air used for cleaning to below 30 psi dead-end pressure, because air at shop line pressure driven through skin causes serious injection injury. A safety gun's relief ports bleed pressure when the tip is blocked. The higher thrust applies to open flow, not to dead-end pressure. Chip guarding and PPE remain required.

Aluminium keeps the extension manageable; the alloy nozzle resists wear.
