Alemite ALM308730-A Hose Coupler 1/8" NPTF(f) thread Steel Female 10000

The Alemite ALM308730-A is a narrow hydraulic hose coupler with a built-in check valve, threaded 1/8" NPTF(f), constructed in steel and rated to 10,000 PSI working pressure.

The check valve is the difference between this coupler and the standard ALM308730, and it is a meaningful one. Without a check valve, grease under pressure in the coupler bleeds back when the operator disconnects — leaving grease on the fitting, on the machine, on the operator's hands, and creating a soft column of air in the line that has to be pumped out before the next fitting takes grease. The check valve holds the line charged. The connection stays clean and the next shot goes into the bearing rather than into re-priming the hose.

The narrow body reaches grease fittings in tight positions — recessed in housings, behind brackets, close to shafts and bearing caps — where a standard coupler cannot seat square on the fitting.

Steel construction and the 10,000 PSI working pressure rating match the reality of grease gun service, where operating pressures routinely exceed those seen anywhere else in a shop's fluid systems.

The 1/8" NPTF(f) thread is the standard grease hose connection, making the coupler compatible with common whip hose and gun assemblies.
