Alemite ALM308730 Hose Coupler Narrow hydraulic coupler 1/8" NPTF(f) thread

The Alemite ALM308730 is a narrow hydraulic hose coupler with a 1/8" NPTF(f) female thread, constructed in steel and rated to a 10,000 PSI working pressure.

The coupler is the component at the working end of a grease gun or lubrication line that engages the grease fitting on the machine. Its job is to hold that connection under pressure without leaking — and the pressures involved are the reason this is a steel part rather than a plated or die-cast one. Grease guns routinely generate pressures far above what most fluid connections ever see, and a coupler that fails under load empties itself over the operator and the machine.

The narrow profile is the defining feature. Grease fittings are frequently placed where the designer had space for the fitting and no more: recessed in a housing, behind a bracket, close to a shaft or bearing cap. A narrow coupler reaches fittings that a standard-diameter coupler physically cannot seat on square.

The 1/8" NPTF(f) thread is the standard connection for grease gun hoses and whip assemblies, allowing this coupler to be fitted to a wide range of hose ends.
