DiversiTech Cover Line Set KI 230-IKC3

The DiversiTech 230-IKC3 is a three inch line set cover installation kit, supplying the channel and fittings required for a typical installation.

Kits address a practical problem in stocking. A line set cover installation needs straight channel, an elbow or two, a wall penetration cover, a termination at the equipment end, and joint covers, and running out of any one of them stops the job. A kit assembled around a typical installation means the installer arrives with a matched set from a single system.

Compatibility between components is the reason this matters more than convenience. Cover systems from different manufacturers, and sometimes different ranges from the same manufacturer, do not interlock. Channel from one and elbows from another will not seal, and the resulting gaps admit water and insects at exactly the fittings where protection matters most.

Kits do not remove the need to survey the installation first. A run with several direction changes, an unusual penetration, or a longer than typical length will need components beyond the kit contents, and establishing that before travelling to site is worthwhile.

Surplus fittings from a kit rarely go to waste on a contractor doing volume work.

Confirm the kit's channel size accommodates the insulated bundle for the equipment being installed, and check the contents against the surveyed requirement before departure.
