DiversiTech 3" Speedichannel Line Set 230-D3A

The DiversiTech 230-D3A is a three inch Speedichannel line set duct section, forming the straight run of a line set concealment system.

Line set cover systems are assessed on installed appearance and on how long that appearance lasts. Both depend on details that are decided during installation rather than on the product itself.

Straightness is the most visible. A run that wanders relative to the siding lines, or that is not plumb where it rises vertically, is noticeable from the street and will be noticed by the customer. Snapping a line or using a level along the run costs a few minutes.

Fastener spacing determines whether the run stays straight. Too widely spaced and the channel sags between fixings, and the sag collects water. The substrate governs the fixing type, and fastening into siding alone rather than into structure behind it is a common shortcut that fails over time.

Joint alignment is the third. Sections should meet cleanly with consistent overlap, always arranged so upper sections shed water over lower ones.

Many cover systems are paintable, and matching the cover to the wall makes the installation far less conspicuous. Confirm paint compatibility with the material before proceeding.

Confirm channel size accommodates the full insulated bundle, and that fittings are from the same system, since manufacturers' components are not interchangeable.
