CLC Tool Bag Backpack Lighted L255

The CLC L255 is a lighted tool backpack with integrated illumination for working in poorly lit conditions.

Lighting is a recurring difficulty in this trade, since a great deal of the work happens where lighting was never provided.

Attics, crawl spaces, plant rooms, ceiling voids, and the interiors of equipment cabinets are all dark, and rooftop and outdoor work frequently continues after daylight.

The conventional solutions each have limitations. A handheld torch occupies a hand that is needed for the work. A head torch keeps hands free and points where the technician looks, which is usually right but occasionally wrong when the hands are working somewhere the eyes are not. A work light on a stand illuminates an area but requires setting up and a power source.

Integrated lighting in a bag illuminates the bag's interior, which addresses the specific and constant problem of finding a tool in a dark space, and some designs provide area lighting as well.

None of these replaces a head torch for the actual work, and most technicians carry more than one light source.

Battery management is the practical consideration with any integrated lighting, since a light that is flat when needed provides nothing.

Confirm the capacity and pocket arrangement suit the kit, check the battery type and runtime, and carry an independent light source as well.
