CLC Tool Bag 19 Pocket 1116

The CLC 1116 is a 19 pocket tool bag for organising hand tools and service equipment.

Pocket count is a rough indicator of organisation capacity, but the arrangement matters more than the number.

The practical question is whether the pockets suit the tools actually carried. A bag with many small pockets suits screwdrivers, nut drivers, and pliers. A bag with fewer, larger compartments suits meters, gauges, and bulkier items. A bag with a mixture covers a general service kit.

Interior and exterior pockets serve different purposes. Exterior pockets give quick access to frequently used items without opening the bag, which matters when working on a ladder or in a confined position. Interior pockets protect items from weather and from falling out.

Depth is worth checking. Pockets too shallow allow tools to fall out when the bag is tipped or carried at an angle, which is how tools are lost.

Instrument protection deserves consideration. Meters and gauges are the most expensive items in most kits and the most easily damaged, and a padded compartment is worth having.

The bag's base is the component that fails first on most bags, and a reinforced or moulded base substantially extends life since bags are routinely set down on rough surfaces.

Confirm the pocket arrangement suits the tools carried and that the construction will survive the environment.
