CLC Tool Bag 23 Pocket 1526

The CLC 1526 is a 23 pocket tool bag for organising hand tools and service equipment.

Bag construction determines service life, and tool bags lead a hard existence. They are set down on concrete, gravel, and rooftops, loaded beyond their intended weight, and left in vehicles through temperature extremes.

The base fails first on most bags. A moulded or reinforced base resists abrasion from being dragged and set down, and a bag with a soft base wears through within a season of regular use.

Stitching at the handle and strap attachments is the second failure point, since the entire load passes through those joints. Reinforced or bar tacked stitching at these points is worth looking for.

Zips are the third. A failed zip on a closed bag is difficult to repair and effectively ends its useful life, and heavy duty zips justify their cost.

Material affects water resistance and abrasion resistance. A bag left in the rain with tools inside produces rust, and instruments do not tolerate immersion.

Handle and shoulder strap comfort matters more than it seems on a bag that will be carried regularly, and a padded shoulder strap makes a substantial difference.

Confirm the construction, base, stitching, and closures suit the use, and that the capacity matches the kit without requiring the bag to be overloaded.
