The NIC04995N is a half round file, bastard cut, 0.153 inch thick, 0.595 inch wide, 10 inch long, hard stamped, steel.

Note a data error: the source lists file length as 10 inch and overall length as 7.94 inch. Overall length cannot be less than the file length — the overall figure includes the tang, so it is always longer. The comparable 12 inch file in this range lists 15 inch overall, which is the correct relationship. Verify before publishing.

The half round profile makes this two files in one. One face is flat and one is curved, which covers flat surfaces, concave curves, and the transitions between them in a single tool. That is not a compromise — the curved face is the correct tool for opening a drilled hole, dressing an internal radius, or fitting a curved part against a flat one, and no flat file will do it.
