APEX LFKPQR1425N Quickread Tape 25 ft Steel Yellow Clad A3 1 Inch SAE 2.15 Inch

The LFKPQR1425N is a Quickread tape, yellow clad blade finish, 25 ft blade length, steel blade, A3 blade style, 1 inch blade width, SAE, 2.15 inch overall height, 6.8 inch overall length, 4.85 inch overall width.

This is the Quickread scheme in the 25 ft construction length with a full 1 inch blade — which is the combination where the readability argument pays off most.

A 1 inch blade has real standout, meaning the blade can be extended across a span unsupported. But standout puts the far end of the tape a long way from the reader's eyes, and that is exactly where counting unlabelled fraction marks goes wrong. A Quickread blade labels the fractions directly, so the reading at ten feet is as unambiguous as the reading at one.

That combination — long reach and direct-labelled fractions — is what makes this a sensible default for crews with mixed experience. Reading a conventional tape quickly is a skill, and skills fail under fatigue and bad light.

Yellow clad is a hard bonded blade coating that resists the abrasion which wears printed graduations unreadable, and yellow gives contrast that supports the same point.

Twenty-five feet is the general construction length: long enough for most spans, short enough to carry all day.

Applications include framing, construction layout, and general trades.

Users include carpenters, builders, and maintenance crews.
