APEX LFKPHV1312DN Power Tape 12 ft Steel Clearcoat A4 0.75 Inch SAE 1.2 Inch

The LFKPHV1312DN is a Power Tape, A4 blade style, steel blade, clearcoat finish, 12 ft blade length, 0.75 inch blade width, SAE, 1.2 inch overall height, 6.3 inch overall length, 3.7 inch overall width, rawhide case.

The 0.75 inch blade on a 12 ft tape is the specification worth noticing, because it is an unusual combination. Blade width drives standout — a wider blade curves more in section, which makes it stiffer, which lets it project further unsupported. Most 12 ft tapes use narrow blades, because a short tape is used close.

A 0.75 inch blade at 12 ft means better standout than the length would suggest and a heavier blade to wind. That suits someone who wants a compact tape that still reaches across a bench or a doorway without help.

Note the overall height of 1.2 inch — this is a low-profile case, which is what makes a wider blade pocketable.

Clearcoat is the blade finish: a protective layer over printed graduations. It is lighter and cheaper than a clad blade and it wears faster. For a tape used indoors and in the hand, that is a reasonable trade; for a tape dragged across concrete daily, clad lasts longer.

Note also the A4 blade style designation, which differs from other 12 ft tapes in this range — blade styles govern graduation layout, so confirm the markings suit your work.

Applications include carpentry, cabinetry, and general trades.
